Recent openings have delivered 2,714 rooms over the past 24 months, with new supply arriving in markets from coastal Connecticut to northern New England.

New England Hotel Development & Construction Pipeline

The upscale and upper midscale tiers anchor New England's development pipeline, combining for 31 of the 55 projects tracked by Lodging Development and accounting for 3,584 rooms. Upper upscale projects represent another meaningful segment, with 11 projects and 1,163 rooms in the pipeline. Among the projects currently tracked, The Strider Hotel, Curio Collection — a 175-room upper upscale property being developed by NB Development Group — is in construction. The 159-room AC Hotel at Suffolk Downs is in planning as an upscale addition to the greater Boston market. In New Hampshire, DVR Development has an early-planning dual-branded Home2 Suites and Tru by Hilton in Seabrook totaling 136 rooms. Recent New England Hotel Openings

Nineteen hotels totaling 2,714 rooms have opened across New England over the past 24 months. The most significant recent delivery was the 549-room Great Wolf Lodge at Foxwoods, an upscale resort that opened in mid-2025 in Connecticut.
