Colorado Hotel Development & Construction Pipeline

Among the projects currently tracked by Lodging Development in Colorado, the most significant by scale is the 600-room Gregory Gulch Resort & Casino, an unaffiliated upper upscale property in the planning stage being developed by G3 Gaming. Also noteworthy is the 199-room After Sunset Hotel Colorado Springs, currently under construction by Northgate Properties, and the 180-room Catbird Hotel Colorado Springs, an upscale project from Nor'wood Development Group in final planning. Five Senses Hospitality is planning a 140-room dual-branded Home2 Suites and Hampton Inn & Suites in Gypsum.

Recent Colorado Hotel Openings

Among the most recent, a 180-room dual-branded SpringHill Suites and TownePlace Suites opened in Steamboat Springs in early June 2026, alongside the 84-room Hotel Longmont and a 100-room Hampton Inn & Suites in downtown Durango.
