The market's growth is spread across suburban submarkets including Alpharetta, Buford, Kennesaw, and Newnan as much as the urban core.

Among the 33 projects currently tracked by Lodging Development in the Atlanta metro area, representing 4,635 rooms, the pipeline is led by the upscale tier, which accounts for 11 projects and 1,535 rooms — the largest share of activity by count. A meaningful portion of rooms also falls into an undetermined scale category (9 projects, 1,102 rooms), while upper midscale (6 projects, 876 rooms) and upper upscale (4 projects, 817 rooms) round out notable segments.
