RLJ Lodging Trust is a hotel owner headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, and one of the largest publicly traded lodging REITs in the United States in terms of both number of hotels and number of rooms.

RLJ Lodging Trust's current portfolio includes at least 83 properties totaling more than 18,400 rooms. The portfolio is concentrated in the upscale segment, which accounts for at least 45 hotels and approximately 9,700 rooms. Upper upscale properties represent another 28 or more hotels with roughly 7,200 rooms, while upper midscale holdings account for at least eight properties. Properties in the company's portfolio include the Louisville Marriott Downtown in Louisville, Kentucky, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Washington DC Downtown, and The Pierside Santa Monica in California, among others.

The company's holdings span at least 20 states and the District of Columbia, reflecting a geographically broad footprint that includes markets such as Houston, Texas, as well as properties in California, Florida, Hawaii, New York, and numerous other states across the country.
