Over the trailing 24 months, Lodging Development has tracked 40 hotel openings across the Mountain West totaling 6,139 rooms, spanning economy extended-stay concepts to upscale select-service properties.

Pricing data is available for transactions in Nevada, where the sale of the 214-room Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel & Spa to Noble Investment Group for $37.4 million stands out as the region's most notable disclosed deal. Other significant activity includes the sale of the Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole to BDT & MSD Partners and the DoubleTree Hotel Park City - The Yarrow to Barings, both in non-disclosure states where individual sale prices are not reported.
